The Plant Mom Diaries

About a year ago, I bought this pitcher plant from Seed to Stem in Worcester. She quickly outgrew the pot that she came in.

So, I made her a new planter with macrame! My plant babies get only the best so she also got some custom artwork.

I carved an owl demon out of an avocado seed as a protection charm. The "feathers" on the owl's head are press-on nails! I got this set that didn't fit my nails properly, but I didn't want them to go to waste. So I stuck them into an avocado seed and got to carving! I added an amethyst crystal at the bottom because they are known for their healing properties. Since I have a variety of chronic illnesses, I like to keep amethyst on me and around me.
